Stord/Haugesund University College is a state institution of higher education, established in August 1994 by the merging of four former independent colleges in Stord and Haugesund, Norway.

Northern Europe: The Stord/Haugesund University College is situated as two separate campuses on the south west coast of Norway.

The College is organised in three faculties:

  • Faculty of Teacher and Cultural Education
  • Faculty of Technology/Business/Maritime Education
  • Faculty of Health Education

The total number of students is about 2700, and there are 260 academic and administrative staff.

Stord/Haugesund University College offers studies of high quality, directed towards specific professions in society, and there is a great demand for graduates from our study programmes.
